Open Opportunities

There is a place here for everyone. Some of these roles take a few hours spread across the whole year, others are a single afternoon. If you are not sure what fits, write to us and we will help you find something that works for your schedule.

Board and committee openings

Role Openings What it involves
Events Facilitator (Junior) 1 Plan and run PTO events alongside our Senior Facilitator. Voting seat on the Board.
Parliamentarian 1 Keep meetings running to Robert’s Rules and our bylaws. Non-voting Board seat.
Nominating Committee Chair 2 Lead the search for next year’s Board. The two chairs build out the rest of the committee. Runs December through May.
Co-Book Fair (Junior) 1 Run the Book Fair with our Senior chair. Next fair is March 2027.
Grade Level Liaison, MYP 1 Connect families in grades 5 through 8 with the PTO.
Hospitality 1 Help with the December staff luncheon and Teacher Appreciation Week in April.
Picture Day 1 Coordinate Picture Day with the school and the photographer.
Pioneers Rising, 4th Grade 1 Help with moving up day for our 4th graders.
Yearbook, PYP 2 Put together the yearbook for grades K through 4.

PYP is the Primary Years Programme, grades K through 4. MYP is the Middle Years Programme, grades 5 through 8.

Every event below needs parent helpers. No experience necessary, and you do not need to commit to more than one.
